When you have a device registered in the editoral interface but it’s inactive,

although it should be active.

 

Possible causes

Fixes

 

  •  This issue can be caused if your device is actually inactive or you are looking at two different devices in the system and in real life.
 

  •  Check and make sure that you are looking at the same device that seems to be inactive in the system and make sure it is turned on.
 

  •  Most of the time this issue appears when you don’t have internet connection on your device.
 

  •  Check and make sure that the device that seems to be inactive in the system has internet connection.
 

  •  Some android boxes can not handle an Ethernet and a Wi-Fi connection simultaneously.
 

  •  Check and make sure that the device that seems to be inactive has either the Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection at a time.
